Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have big orange citrus hops, resin, some sweetness, earthy, some alcohol though it is mostly warming, moderate bitterness, big, without being in your face, I thought it was good, not great. (draft @ Local Option - Chicago, IL) Cloudy orange color with a creamy white head. Huge malt and citrus aroma with a lot of floral hops under that. Flavor is the same. Big malt bomb with lots of juicy citrus and hops and a light bitterness at the end. slowrunner77 (11930) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 18, 2014
"This big, sticky octuple iPa is more akin to the likes of 120 minute than the usual double ipa. Strong, thick, and sweet with tons of pine resin and some candied citrus among the malt. I enjoyed it, but wonder what some restraint would do."

Aroma: The nose is sweet for the style, a little booze, and a fair amount of resin/citrus hops
Appearance: The pour of this beer is cloudy and amber in color with a beige head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, sweet and a little bitter, with mild booze, and decent hops
Palate: A medium-plus body, with an average carbonation, some light heat, and a decent dryness
Overall Impression: I expected the booze to make more of an impact on this one considering the ABV. Otherwise, this one works pretty well. A tasty beer for sure.
On tap at brewery. Darker coppery/red colour. Huge aroma of fresh hops, pinecones and some resin but backed by a malts and biscuit. More of the same on the palate, with a hot finish that lingers well enough. Huge and tasty brew.

Tasted on tap at Chicago Diner. It poured a cloudy amber with a thin head. Had a sweet, fruity hopped aroma and a strong, yet sweet well hopped taste. This one is delicious, goes down easy, and packs a wallop with12.5% ABV. AndyReynolds (1085) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2014
My 168 fight night beer. Very different for a DIPA. The malt make up is what really seems to take this beer away from it’s counterparts. I mean the hops are in your face citrus and grapefruit, but the malt profile is something else.
