Lightly hazed amber to tan colored liquid. Moderate sized head which is slightly rocky and a dried bone color. Aromas of toasted malt, dark fruit of plums and dates, along with hints of earth and grainy bread. Flavors are full of grains and malt, from raw to toasted. Middle brings some citric hops and touch of acidity. Finish and linger are again filled with acidic hops which makes this feel thinner and refreshing. Not quite sold on this one. Interesting. 2/12

Trübes kupferfarben mit reichlich Schaum. Malzig, etwas Karamell, leicht nussig, fruchtig, blumig, sehr süffig. DwarfeD (3540) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2017
50cl bottle shared at home. Pale orange / brown with a medium off-white head. Medium body with low carbonation. Subtle bitter and sweet tones. Caramel, malts, straw and some fruits. Quite nice. MelvinKalksma (1679) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 2, 2017

Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, overripe fruit, bread and hops.
Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and overripe fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread and hops.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Looks, tastes and feels as a lower alcohol Barley Wine. This is pretty great for its abv, but it also lacks some intensity.
Poured from a 500 ML bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky golden amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma is very fruity with some caramel. The taste is light caramel with some fruit, has faint hops in the background.

Bottle at home. Aroma is toasted malt, grains, bread, caramel, mild spicy yeast, with notes of ripe fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and slightly bitter. Body is medium. Good malt profile, not a bad brew. geologyguy (1647) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - SEP 8, 2016
very good smell but wish it was more prominent, like roasted malt/barley, taste is lightly sweet and malty on the front end but then changes to be more bitter on the finish, besides this trick it is one dimensional and straightforward, Bitterness isn’t floral or citrus, it’s just bitter, and that isn’t pleasant to my palate johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 22, 2016
Poured from bottle...not usually my style but price was right...bready...minimal hops...decent flavor...mellow. nearbeer (5559) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 6, 2016
500 ml. Nice looking pour is mostly clear, orange-amber with a sticky covering of foam. Mild nose of toffee, roasted corn and mineral. Flavors of caramel, toast, dry grass, toasted pecan, lightly spicy yeast. Almost seems like some earthy peat and/or cocoa powder in the finish. Near-medium body has smooth medium carbonation and a nice balance. Seems like a richer, spicier Vienna or Oktoberfest, yet somehow with a more crisp finish than those venerable styles typically have. Pretty good sessioner. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2016
500ml bottle. Poured a golden/amber color with a smaller sized head. Fruity, caramel, yeast, and toasted malts.
