Bottle @ sebar. Very dark color almost black short thick brown head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, cocoa and a mild fruity tone, may be orange as the label says, quite alcoholic as it warms up. Taste is balanced, light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, fairly thick texture, dry finish.

Taster from bottle @ Scottish Real Ale Shop, Kilmahog. Pours dark, thin tan head. Aroma is light roast and cocoa. Taste follows a similar path, with additional smooth dark fruits. Nice smooth stout. Or is it a porter?

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Deep brown pour with a small tan head. Fairly faint nose. Mild charred grain, a bit of chocolate syrup. Flavor is at the sweeter end of the spectrum. Milk chocolate. A bit of earthy ash. Smooth and supple. OK.
