Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
The Slug of Leicester. Diaphanous straw bubbled loosely with white. Slightly catty, cheesy aroma with aspects of green leaf, bile and lime. Pungent ganja. No, that’s someone walking past smoking a fat one. Slightly dank old satsuma hop with a few fronds of fennel or dill. Hints of retronasal bread and stone in a sudden bitter closure edged with chaff and tonic. OK but needs an added oomph of citrus and aromatics to take it to the next level. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2015
Cask at Holy Inadequate, Etruria. Pours pale gold with white head. Nice light citrus session pale. Refreshing. jjsint (3204) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2015
Handpull cask at the Waverley Bar, Dumfries. Straw colour. Slightly hazy with a rocky white head. Floral citrus with a buttery/cheesy note. The taste, however, is quite pleasant: light bittersweet fading to a slightly more bitter intensity. Back-of-the-throat bitterness in the aftertaste lingers for some time. A good drink all in all. But could be so much better. YantarCoast (1406) - Moscow, RUSSIA - APR 16, 2015
500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit. Hoppy grapefruit taste. Lingering bitter after-taste.
