courtesy of Thomas Schneider - clear bronze beer with a little foam let; flowery and caramelish aroma; pretty sweet and full-bodied, caramelish aftertaste with some residual sweetness and warming alcohol notes - a bit one-dimensional but ok

0.33l bottle from kalea adventskalender. pours a murky amber-orange with a big steady head. aroma of hay, honey, caramel, a hint of tropical fruits, booze. flavour of cane sugar, raisins, cake. bitttersweet. chewy, full body.

pleispleis (285) - Maccagno, ITALY - FEB 16, 2018

Bottle. Pours clear golden. Aroma is candy, pale malts, some bock, toasted malts. Body is medium, sweet but boozy, caramel, toasted malts, still strongly bitter, with a low carbonation. Sweet palate. Low on flavours and relatively boring.

Bottle from Bignens Vins, Balexert. Deep amber colour, thin foam. Luscious warming boozy malt, some noble spicy hop, enough bitterness to balance but no more, drinks clean and nice. A very correct bock if lacking a certain excitement factor.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing!
Pours clear pale orange golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of mild fruits and hops, sharp grains, some alcohol. Taste of mild sweet malt, grains, some alcohol in the finish.

33cl swing-top bottle. Malty smooth beginning. Sweetish hints with nice cake flavour. Round and malty, very smooth with brown sugar, caramel and a nice fitting bitterness. Easy to drink, not too sweet, round and great!
