COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

German/Swiss tasting at three cellars Milwaukee. Easily the best Vienna I have tried. orange-brown color, Malty and grassy flavours

Bottled (swingtop bottle). Cloudy orange-brown coloured, white head. Aroma of wheat, like a hefeweizen with notes of banana, combined with some caramel malts, really nice. In flavour the wheat is more on the background, and it’s the caramel malts that together with the hops that dominate. Biter finish. Pleasant brew.

Pours a medium copper color with a thin white head that fades quickly. Aroma is oak, and some skunkiness. Taste is smooth, grainy, grassy, and some corn. Nothing special but quite refreshing.

Esta suíça surpreende pela presença de notas amadeiradas entre os evidentes malte e lúpulo. Final longo e doce. Agradável.

Embrouille (2853) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 5, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2008 Bottled 33cl. It pours a beautiful hazy orange beer. Lovely color. The nose is of malt, wood, caramel, chestnut and berries. A woody taste. Malty, full bodied with a decent hoppiness. Slightly sour, not in a bad way, adding character to this beer. Caramel and berries again in the taste. A very good palate. The finish is buttery, malty, slightly yeasty with hints of chestnuts. Nice lacing. Rerate pending.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Merci, Stephane !) Golden, hazy, mid-sized, rather creamy head with a little lace; sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity, light bodied; fruity-yeasty-malty finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. O.K., neither pleasant nor bad.........
