Bottle, pours yellow/orange with a white head. Wood, flowers, grass, bread, earthy, hint of banana and caramel. It’s like an alpine meadow in a lager, Interesting beer. kto (1565) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 6, 2016

pours a hazy amber with a small white head and some lacing. practically no aroma, maybe a hint of wood and caramel. flavour of oak, chewed pencil, sour dough, bread, grapes, fruit. not bad, but strange. and I’m missing the aroma.
Thanks 17thfloor for sharing! Pours a strange dark golden, just very light, though it does have a decent lingering white frothy head. Aroma is surprising, very smoky, some bacon and smoked campfiery malts. Flavor has an immediate smoky note before becoming sweet and caramely. Some toffee and toast become more prevalent through a strange and off balanced finish, I can see where the beer was maybe before and I think I am trying to picture that, but its a bit off all around. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Wow that is different. I think the sweet maltiness just takes over becomes cloying eduardovl (1474) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014

Clear, amber body with almost no head, just a ring of white bubbles around the edge. The aroma is boring and bland, some grains, light honey sweetness, some odd fruitiness of lemon and a touch of something like wheat bread. The body is thin and lackluster. The flavor is sweet with just a hint of bitterness. The oak character is conspicuously absent, which isn’t really a problem here. The elements of DMS (corn) are just too strong here, and really takes away from this one. If it was a little cleaner, this could be pretty nice. As it stands, it’s probably not worth another visit. neur0 (1429) - Hannover, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2014

Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is some caramel, spices and yeast. Taste is a bit skunky, caramel and a bit sweet. Medium body and carbo. Not so good. caribou43 (1184) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - MAR 6, 2017
I bought this bottle in the coop in Kriens, you can find this beer relatively easily in Switzerland. For the style, I could say that this beer is original, it is this reason that I give a good note. The taste is definitively sweet, caramel, strong side of oak, nuts, malty, bready, few hop. The color is brown/yellow and troubled, a bit watery, middle low carbonation. Picked this up at the grocery store in New Glarus down the street from the brewery. Hidden underneath some other Swiss wines and dusty and forgotten about. Cool label artwork with a swing top. Tastes like it has gone through some extreme temperature changes and poor storage. Old, and dry and very light, almost slightly vinous, with some oxidized sherry notes. Not the best thing I drank that night, but makes for a neat story, having never tried swiss beer before, only their wine.
