(Old BA rate - bottle) Pours a mostly clear dirty blonde color that nears on brown at points; half-finger of pure white head that doesn’t last very long, but has some residual lacing.
Light earthy hop bitterness in the aroma; very lagery in the aroma and basic, but not bad. Just nothing really remarkable to note; perhaps some faint malt sweetness. Flavor is a bit spiced to me, but very muted overall. Earthy and a touch bready. Some herbal hop bitterness. Actually not a bad tasting brew, especially given the style category. Thinner MF, and a bit slick. Softer carbonation. Just OK drinking, not too interesting, but nothing off either. Certainly above average for the norm in the range and especially for Switzerland.

Bright amber yellow color is hazy. Pure white foam sticks to the glass. The aroma contains a doughy grassy malt. This brew is crisp and medium bodied. There is a mild sweetness of malt on the tongue that lingers. THis beer is pretty good overall. It’s refreshing. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - MAY 4, 2011
Bottle with Peter in Geneva. Dark golden body with nice white head. Nose of malts and dark berries. Taste is also malty but also a bit bitter. Slippery texture. Decent.

The head is ok, the body blond and cloudy. It smells a bit woody, wheat, malty. The taste is a bit creamy, woody, malty. 11/10/9/10/11/10 Sissio (1789) - Orsenigo, ITALY - MAY 18, 2014
Clear copper gold with cream head. Caramel malts, cane sugar and wild honey, but not invasive. Mellow taste with sweet caramel malty tone, again sugar cane and a light bitter ending. Nice, but nothing exceptional.

Bottle. Pleasantly sweet and malty, yet light and refreshing. Tasty. Didn’t know Locher had a second good brew. Inoven (1043) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 27, 2016
Fles meegenomen van vakantie. Licht amber kleurig helder bier met weinig aroma. Smaak licht sprankelend en houtachtige. Weinig nasmaak. BrewLieutenant9 (15) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 8, 2016
caramel, toast, roasty, spruce, earthy, woody, pale, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly sour, medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, I really wonder if this beer has ever seen a wooden barrel... actually it’s a whiskey pale ale with an above average share of smoky malt.
