Hazy amber coloured with a medium sized white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, rye bread and honey.
Sweeet flavour of malts and caramel with notes of honey, hops and alcohol.
Hoppy finish. madvike (3305) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 14, 2009
Bottle - Pours clear light amber with barely a head. Smells earthy and woody, but the strongest smell is of a funky, sweaty sock. Yep, it smells like a sock found in the dark corner of your gym bag. Nasty. Fortunately, it tastes better than it smells. It’s dry apple, oak, and a little bit of hops on the finish. Finish is dry and astringent--tart and refreshing. It’s pretty light-bodied and has just enough carb. A weird beer, but an interesting experience. I just wish it didn’t smell like a sock. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 2, 2010
Orange colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Smooth and creamy peachy fruity aroma, sweet one indeed. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also peachy with some lemony and vanilla note, aftertaste dries, still smooth ending. daniele (9875) - ITALY - AUG 19, 2012

Interesting beer especially since I’m not exactly sure what an appenzeller is. What I can say is it tastes very fresh and lively like it has to be made with mountain water. Lighter beer but not too light, like a weak amber. I’d have another :-)

Floral and malty beer, with a fresh taste of caramel, aroma hop and herbs. Good. Lele (562) - Padova, ITALY - JUN 22, 2014
Birra abbastanza gradevole e scorrevole. Ma esistono tantissime stile Vienna decisamente molto più buone
