This one was tough going - sharp palate and not very enjoyable Jokes (1453) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 17, 2006
Clear, amber body with almost no head, just a ring of white bubbles around the edge. The aroma is boring and bland, some grains, light honey sweetness, some odd fruitiness of lemon and a touch of something like wheat bread. The body is thin and lackluster. The flavor is sweet with just a hint of bitterness. The oak character is conspicuously absent, which isn’t really a problem here. The elements of DMS (corn) are just too strong here, and really takes away from this one. If it was a little cleaner, this could be pretty nice. As it stands, it’s probably not worth another visit. yespr (45413) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 19, 2008

Bottle, thanks Allen. Hazy amber, low head. Rather metallic rusty aroma. Roasted malt, light grain, metallic hops, indeed it tates like a barrel - from the outside. Very nice mellow prickly mouthfeel, medium to light body. Light phenolic retronasal. MaltOMeal (1094) - Land of Sugar, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2010
