Erzengel (8441) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2014

pivnizub (10452) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 28, 2011
Bottle: Golden to pale golden, cloudy, big fluffy to rocky white head, slowly collapsing; sourish-yeasty nose with a citrussy touch; mild sourish-sweetish flavour, soft MF, light bodied; short mild sweetish-sourish, a bit watery, finish. Drinkable, not exciting......

Koelschtrinker (19399) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 17, 2011
12/11/11/10/8/11

Bottle (from Koelschtrinker). Sweet banana/orange, clove and wheat malt aroma - nice. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. Sweet-tart lemon/orange, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Decent body. Not bad - a nice surprise from a supermarket beer.

Nickls (2498) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUL 1, 2010
(Old BA rate - bottle) Pours with a nice blooming pure white head that is definitely a bit fluffy and it actually holds pretty well. Very hazy orange-yellow color that is a touch darker than usual, looks like a proper hefe. Malt sweetness shows up in the nose first; then onto some fainter yeastiness; citrusy and slight hints of banana. Not bad at all, but not overwhelmingly great or anything. Citrusy at first in the flavor, and has some bready yeastiness; catch the banana in the aftertaste. However, caught some metallic notes that prevent a refreshing and this needs cleaned up or to be cared for better. Fluffier medium body with soft carbonation. Could be a bit more of everything to be a good hefe, but nothing terrible either.

Embrouille (2844) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 1, 2008
Bottled 50cl. It pours a hazy honey colored beer with a quick diminishing fizzy white head. The nose is of banana, honey and lemon. A hint of mint. Slightly metallic. Grainy and oily. Slight smokiness. The taste is rather pleasant. Nicely balanced. Not to sweet with a good malt presence. Low bitterness. Light bodied. Decent mouthfeel. A lot of banana and honey showing up. A hint of mint, paprika and carrot. Slightly acidic. Hardly any lacing. Refreshing and drinkable. Yeasty finish with a hint of lemon. Not a terribly good Hefeweizen. Unfortunately a bit acidic - the major unpleasant characteristic of this beer.

MoritzF (9759) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 25, 2007
(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big foamy white head, slowly lacing. Yeasty, slightly sweet and moderately wheaty nose with light notes of banana and a dash of spicy herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour with a minimal level of acidity, light bodied with a fizzy, almost sharp carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste with a moderate wheat-character and light notes of banana; slightly sweet and light-bitter finish with minimal hoppy notes and traces of metal.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow colour, large and creamy head, very pleasant aroma. Yeasty character, malty with hints of banana and fruit. Well-balanced and very pleasant Hefeweizen.
