tombyars (1770) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Tasted this in Tennents Bar, Glasgow on the 2nd October 2017. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Slight hoppy aroma with strong fruit notes of pear drop sweets long on the nose. Thin resiny mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt gives a light backbone of light digestive biscuit, cut with tart pear fruit. There is a light sweet citrus hoppy citrus flavour to the bitter hop resins present in the aftertaste. Finish is bitter sweet but verging on the hoppy side with soft pear fruit still detectable on the palate. A decent session ESB.

Creamy smooth, aroma of barley has a good head. Golden in appearance easy to drink and the strength not apparent in taste. Very moreish

Dissaponting given strenght. Grainy Hoppy but not a lot going on. Acceptable though.

The_Osprey (9159) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2016
Cask HP at The Webb Ellis Twickenham as Loddon Forbury Lion Strong IPA, 5.5%. Amber orange, translucent, still, foamy white head endures and leaves full lacing. Aroma is airy, white bread, musty. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation for cask. Taste is hop-forward, resinous and nutty, seeded bread, tangy hops, drying finish. Tangy, drying and quite thin. Simple and doesn’t deliver much at the abv. A bit disappointing, but alright.

Backlog rating. Cask at JDW CW, London. It pours a clear golden color with small white head. Aroma is grainy and malty, not much going on. Taste is also quite malty, grainy, with light straw and starch. Light bodied with ok carbonation. Overall, unremerkable

ManVsBeer (10954) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2015
Burnley Beer Festival 2015. Its strength is evident and is hopped with lots of bubblegum sweetness for its flavour.

kwik-lime (2044) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2015
Cask at JDWs in Surbiton. Fairly hoppy but very sweet with the alcohol noticeable too. Not a great balance but an enjoyably full body.
