Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Appearance: Clear amber/copper with finger thick white head. Aroma: Cereal, toast, grassy, hay, fruity and note of caramel. Taste: Low sweetness and sourness, medium bitterness. Palate: Rough thick texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, astringent and lingering bitter, fruity, spicy and malty finish. Comments: Tasty session beer. No lace.

zacgillbanks (5180) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle from BB Wines, Windsor. This is an amber beer with sweet caramel flavours, fruit and slight bitterness and toffee on the finish.

BantamSpirit (18) - ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2013
Very very pleasant. Full bodied bitter with a slight sweet finish. Head clears quite quickly and not much fizz, which is all the better for bitter.

jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear amber with a thin white head and broken lace. The aroma is malty with hoppy notes. The flavour is medium bitter and malty with a nice rounded bitterness on the palate and into the aftertaste. A drinkable session beer.

deanso (10134) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - MAR 4, 2013

cgarvieuk (24488) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 28, 2011
bottle at cropredy ... soft dark sweet dark sugers ... toffee malt nose ... little over sweet ... soft orange ... grapefruit hop ... but mostly toasted sugers .

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2011
Bottle from SH Jones Wines, Leamington. Clear fizzing copper with a persistent white foam. Lightly buttered raffia aroma with hints of nuttiness. Watery with faint toffee, aniseed and toffee streaks. Just another middling, middle of the road mid-brown bitter from the middle of England I’m afraid.

berkshirejohn (6501) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2011
50cl bottle from Asda, Stevenage. Pours amber with a rim of white head; malty aroma; oily texture, with a caramel malt flavour, and a touch of treacle towards the finish.

anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2010
Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty aroma with some weak caramel hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2010
Bottle, shared by fonefan. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Malty, meaty nose with some oxidation hints and a hint of piney hops. Sweet, malty flavor with some hops giving a little bitterness. Medium body. Some metal hints in the otherwise mostly bitter and fruity finish. Not my favorite indeed. 100814
