Copper amber, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - soft caramel malts, some fruity malts, hint of toffee
Taste - rich caramel malts, nutty malts, some dark fruits. light bitter hedgerow hops, yeast, bit of fruity esters, dab of dark fruit cake
Palate - medium carb and body. Finish as main flavour with also some bitter roast malt
Overall - Quite a tasty bitter.

Cask. Ambery brown colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is mildly nutty, wooden, slightly grassy and floral. Flavour is floral hops, some mild wooden and grassy notes as well as quite malty and also some nuttyness. Quite pleasantly balanced.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Almost clear nut brown. Fruity hay aroma. Sweet, medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and quite hoppy with hay and salt leading to a long resiny bitter finish ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2009
Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a rich creamy off-white head. Toasted grains, baked red apples and roasted nuts in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of fudge, pears and leaves. Rather bitter finish of licorice-roots, raisins and nut-shells. Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense cream head; aroma of toasted grain and light fruit; smooth and slightly prickly in the mouth with autumn fruit flavours and a touch of Garibaldi biscuit; refined, dry, bitter, finish. Gravity Cask @ Guide Dog Beer Festival. Red brown. Slightly toasty with toffeeish loddon malts but without usual balancing hoppiness. Hoppiness doesnt quite match to the description.
