Pours deep brown hue with a small fizzy tan head with very limited retention around the rim of the glass. Nose is nice milk chocolate, slightly toasted, slightly metallic (can), almost has like a lite lactic sourness to it. Flavors are slightly metallic milk chocolate, lite black patent malt (burnt), slight husky notes, and a touch of bitter baking chocolate. Not a bad brew whatsoever but i would like to try this on tap,. This beer is better than the ratings would suggest and i am sure on tap, this would crack the 3.8-3.9 territory. This is a somewhat fresh can but the ultimate test would be a tap sample. dnstone (3681) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - NOV 22, 2017
Pours a deep amber-brown with soft tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma and flavor.

12floz can, BBD: 12.28.2017, $9 six-pack, pint glass. Appears dark brown in color with tan head, Aroma and tasting notes consist of toasted bread, slick caramel, and touches of smoke. It's exactly what it is, a porter with wheatiness. A gentle porter of sorts worth mixing in to change things up. AnokaBrewer (223) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - MAR 3, 2017
On tap at The Office in Lake Ozark, MO. Dark brown in color. Not much aroma, which is good for the style. Slight chocolate aroma and flavor as it warms. Nice finish which is sweet.

Pour is a dark cola brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a decent char malt but not much beyond that. Flavor is a more intense roasted char malt with some chalky bitterness. The mouthfeel of this beer is a lot thicker than it looks. An above par porter with lots of roasted malt flavor. vyvvy (6835) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 15, 2016
The beer pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has rich smooth toasty porter malt, chocolate and some richness from the wheat. It has a medium smooth body with gentle carbonation. The taste is richer than expected, the chocolate is there but muted a bit. The sweetness is more than most and has assertive rich malt. Good. kambei70 (1136) - - MAY 16, 2016
On tap. Dark brown with an off-white head, and the aroma blends roasted, caramal, and dark malts. The taste is mildly sour, mildly uamami and a touch sweet, and the palate fuses a slick texture, medium body, soft carbonation, and a roasty finish.

On tap at Mike’s Grill + Tap. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of coffee, caramel malts and dark fruits. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coffee, caramel malts and a touch of chocolate. Very tasty. AbbeyRoade (562) - Missouri, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Really impressed w this local brewery in CoMO. Incredibly smooth nitro tapped porter. Nice cereal and malt flavors. Again I can’t believe how smooth this is!
