Keg @ GTMW ’16. Amber pour with a small head. Nose is toasty – plenty of grain. Some nut. Shag Tobacco. Toasted wafers. Flavor is similar. A bit of tobacco and sweet, nutty toasted grain. Keg feels like an inferior method of dispense for milds. Still, decent.

12 oz. can from Craft Beer Cellar - Clayton. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head that settles into a ring and patchy film. Earthy and toasty, with toasted and caramel malts, roasted nuts, leaves, earth, chocolate, coffee, and a smear of fruit. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation. Nice toasty mouthfeel throughout, but really light and drinkable. Good mild ale.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2016. Pours a near clear amber with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some sweet grains with notes of light roasted malts, bread and biscuit supporting. Flavor has lots of bread and grain with some straw and light roast coming through. tfontana (1128) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 14, 2016
Can pour. Appearance is hazy dark brown/mahogany with 1/2 finger-width off-white fizzy head, no lacing, no sparkle. Aroma is caramel/toffee and vanilla with notes of chocolate, dark fruits. Taste is strong toffee/caramel with berry/fruit and hint of chocolate and vanilla. Palate is medium bodied with average texture and toffee, sweet fruity finish with English hops-like dryness. Overall, a decent amount of complexity/flavor for such a low ABV. Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2016
Draft at the Royale - St. Louis. Pours clear, rich brown with a tight, creamy off-white head. The nose has lightly toasted brown bread, hints of caramel. Light to medium sweet flavour with subtle earthy and leafy notes, more caramel, bready malts. Light bodied, creamy. Simple finish with more soft earthy bitterness, toffee, brown bread, caramel. An easygoing mild. Bif (2344) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - APR 30, 2016
On tap at Shamrocks. Pours a mahogany color with a fair head that fades. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. Taste of malt, caramel with a trace of coffee and chocolate. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth and tasty. Easy drinker. kambei70 (1114) - - APR 1, 2016
Pours a clear light brown color with a tan head. Aroma is nutty and slightly roasty with some mild earthy English hop character. Taste has light chocolate with toasted malt, some breadiness and mild fruitiness, like jam on toast. Very pleasant with a lightly sweet and toasty finish. Light/medium body with moderate carbonation. Really enjoyed this.
