COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh Hop Beer 2011 - We spent the hot summer day hand selecting 9 varieties of organic hops growing at our friends Eric and Jennifer Miller Larch Creek Farms in Dufur, Oregon. We drove them straight to the brewery and loaded up our conditioning tank with Seizoen and all the fresh hops we could stuff in.

On tap at Steins Beer Garden. Spicy aroma without any hops. Very tasty; tropical fruit hops, big spice, dry finish.

Chucks 85th, Seattle. Pale yellow, some haze, soft white bubble foam. Lovely sweet saison ester aroma, herb and grass. Hops add a green, herbal complex to the already herbal grassy body. A bit flabby at points, plenty of esters, but its quite nice. Green hops are welcome addition.

750 from Whole Foods PM. Poured hazy straw with off-white head. Nose was hops, florals, pale malt, yeast. Tasted floral, dry, hoppy, with big hops abounding and notes of florals, white pepper, and white wine.

750 ml bottle poured. Pours a cloudy, light orange color with a foam head that actually resembled Mt. Hood. Strange, yet awesome. Huge, tangy orange aroma. Flavor is sweet and tart orange fruit, with the tart lingering. Standing hop profile, with a dry finish. Overall a standout, exceptional beer. Loved it.

Bottle : Well. It pours fluffy white - heavy and condensed - you know the type - it just gets everywhere and never quite leaves - The nose is ridiculous - I dont necessarily mean that in a good way - bready, citrus, heavy hop esters, florals. The flavor profile reveals funky citrus, musty basement, with a high pitched bittering that comes across as sharp and somewhat obnoxious - it tones itself down on the finish line, revealing the bready notes and feint pineapple -

Cloudy yeasty ugly logsdon pour with chunks of yeast in the fluffy head. Aroma is strong green hoppiness with typical yeasty farmhouse basement and dust. Taste is tart and quite bitter.

Bottle thanks to Ontape ! Pours a medium golden color with three fingers of white fizzy foam. Nose is bright floral hay, soft melon, rustic biscuit malt and hint of yeast phenols. Palate follows with crisp tiny bubbled carbonation, biscuit, citrus peel, spicy yeast. Refreshing.
