Brought this to our Sunday mini whale tasting. Poured into a nondescript snifter. Peche N’Brett pours a cloudy peach color (weird right?) with about a half fingers worth of white head. Pretty good head retention when I swirl my glass. The nose has two separate entities: the peach and the seizon bretta. There is quite a bit of fresh peach and then it falls back on the farmhouse base. I had this yesterday and I didn’t get much peach in the flavor, but that was after having a semi-fresh Fou Foune which is pretty stiff competition. Today, I notice way more of the peach peeking through, it’s still subtle, but it is really a nice easy drinker. The beer has a nice light mouthfeel, good carbonation, gentle tartness, and a moderate finish. Upon a second go at this, I like it quite a bit. I was severely disappointed yesterday with it yesterday, but my opinion has take a 180 today. This is a really nice subtle beer that is a perfect summer beer. It’s shocking that this thing is 10% because I can drink tons of this.

Bue en bouteille de 75cl. Biere excellente. Un coté sour très agréable, acide mais pas trop (à mon gout quoi). Des fruits bien présents, pêches douces et rondes. Une belle corpulence avec l’alcool. Le tout très bien équilibré et long en bouche. Nickel !

Ojejujeju. W aromacie przepiękna brzoskwinia, morela, słodycz, szlachetność, bretty, lambici... Genialne. W smaku oszołomienie podtrzymane, wytrawna brzoskwinia wokół brettów, kwaśność stonowana, pijalne jak diabli, gładkie, dostojne. Piwo roku dla mnie.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a hazy golden body with a large creamy white head of considerable longevity. Aroma is peaches, pale malts, citrus, smoke, brett-like funky farmhouse/saison yeast notes and hints of red fruits, wine gum, straw and pears. Taste is citrus, smoke, pale malts, peaches, straw and hints of mineral salts, apple peel and bretty funk notes. Medium body, high carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. The combination of smokey phenols from the brett and a great citric sour touch makes for a great drinking experience. Lovely complex and yet highly refreshing American farmhouse ale from Logsdon, the best I’ve had from them so far.
