COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.03.15. A gusher. Dense head. Very muddy pale yellow. Sour and refreshing aroma. Fruity, with bitter lemon. Similar taste. Brett is evident. Also a little bitterness. Dry mouthfeel.

Draft at the rye house NYC. Pours cloudy tan color with a thick 2 finger head that fades. Interesting complex bready and yeasty notes. Pretty good

Bottle at Seattle Share. Part of the blind brett saison tasting. Deep haze, orange, white cream, peppery. Sweet, soft juicy brett. Loved it.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Moderately gushing bottle, better have the glass ready! Golden colour, clear first, cloudy later. Large white head. Intense, complex and lovely farmhouse and rustic kitchen aroma, hints of mild spices and oaked apple cider. The flavour is medium dry and crisp, again with mild spicy and moderate oaky notes. Some fruitiness too. Moderate but noticeable hops. Refreshing and delightful.

Bottle poured at a blind tasting. Thanks Eugene. Pours a cloudy pineapple juice color with a medium bubbly head. A ton of banana on the aroma and flavor. A little peach and mango flavor as well. A lot of sweet fruit flavor. Very enjoyable. Nicely done.

Cloudy golden in apppearance with a frothy white head. Outstanding lacing. Refreshing aroma that has suprising malty aroma. The longer it sits more cherries seems to produce. Very tart and sweet on the palate. Medium bodied and a very smooth finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Meditrina. Bright clear golden orange with not much head and some lace. Very slight funky tart aroma with some honey citrus and pepper and alcohol. Sweeter than expected tropical fruit honey grains with peppery grainy slightly medicinal alcohol finish and lasting grainy grassy bitterness. Medium body slightly sticky. Definitely not dry: that must have been wishful thinking, at least for this batch. Good. I think I might be souring on sour beers.

Bottle: Light-gold, deep-straw color, very dense & cloudy, nearing 100% opacity & topped with a volatile, lovely white head sifts its way down to nothing in moments. Aroma hits heavy with Granny Smith apples, white grape, funky barnyard must, wet cork, damp cotton, under-ripe pear, & maybe a hint of old pineapple. More tart & fruity than funky on the nose. Flavor flip flops, though, & funk is definitely the starring role. Brett bomb; dirty barnyard, moldy wet wood, old cork, musty blankets. Not overly sweaty, but really dry & crittery. Lots of wood & oak wetness, too. Tartness is still there, though. Pineapple, pear skin, apple, some generic, mineral stone fruit acidity. Hint of bitterness towards the drying, Brett laden finish. Really nice.

2014 Bottle. Seems infected, beer sprayed everywhere when opened. It had been sitting since I got it so it wasnt shaken. Taste had a metallic dryness and yeast aroma. There was some of the original flavor and aroma underneath but unfortunately it was undrinkable. Non infected version is delicious, rating is from non infected one.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours a hazy orange with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of stone fruits, brett, bread, citrus, mild spice, pepper and dandelion. The taste is brett, citrus, pineapple, bread, mild floral notes. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice.
