COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

750ml bottle from Belmont Station in Portland. Murky yellow pour with and spotty retention. Aroma is light tart, spices, pear. Tastes are yeast, apple, lemon zest, earthy, little brett funk, little banana-clove, bready. Tart in the finish. Very lively carbonation. Dry finish. Yeah, big fan.

Man, i really wanted to love this beer but in the end I just found it too cloying. Pours a hazy orange with an enormous white head. Aromas of sweat, slight funk, melon. Taste is bretty and dirty, which is really nice, but with a sweetness that just wears on you after a while. Finishes sweet and sweaty. Good, not great.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. Huge head, full carbonation. The aroma is stone fruits, apricot, slight citrus. The flavor is odd. Strong bitterness, herbal, medicinal.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with an off white head. Hoppy aromas. Citrusy hops with big time brett and mild orange notes. Somewhat dry with a decent body and mouthfeel.

Delightful nose, with a good dose of the apple orchard. The Brett helps ground the fruitiness, and the balance is splendid.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden/orange with a lacy, white head. Aroma of fruits, spices, some pale malts and light caramel, and a little hops. Flavor the same with a lot of fruits and a nice blend of everything else. Average texture. A really good beer.

On tap. Pours a medium gold with a white head and lacing. It has a medium aroma of funk, dark fruit, and a bit of bread. The flavor is sour sweet up front, with a light, sweet and sour middle and long but tart finish over a medium-light body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a robust pinkish orange. Aroma citrus and Bretta, crisp and lush. Body lively, finish dry and smooth. Floral fluffy. Mmm...

Bottle. Gushed a bit on opening, lost probably 1/4 of the bottle. Pours a nice hazy orange with a pillow of white head that reduces to a nice foamy ring, leaving lots of lacing. Big spicy, yeasty, pineapple aroma. Thick, creamy mouthfeel that develops into a nice dry finish. Lots of pineapple, spice, bread, only lightly bretty which is nice.
