Pour is golden with a thick white head that leaves BIG lacing. Aroma is of cereals and spices, feeling really fresh. Taste is dry with a slight tartness with again some fresh cereals and flowers. Carbonation level is med-high and the drink is quenching. This is serious stuff, awesome! (I preferred this one to the oak-aged version but both are really, really good saisons) Dansrc51 (46) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - SEP 27, 2013
Aroma of tart cherry and dried apricot. Palate is clean and fruity esters. Dry crisp finish. Very nice

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2016 Shared 750 ml. bottle, and poured to snifters showing a cloudy orange color, with a modest layer of soft white froth, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was funk, fruit & citrus, with a touch of spice, and some sweet, biscuity scent. Medium bodied, with good effervescence, the taste was tart and still bretty, but subdued & smoothed a bit by light, creaminess to the mouthfeel. A very presentable Saison. Shared another bottle, with the intro being a little gushy, thus presenting more persistent froth to the head foam, as the nose added some floral hints & potpourri spicing, citrus as grapefruit & lemon, with fizzy carbonation, and earthy & rind-like bitterness that accompanied the tart astringency. +.1 Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2013
On tap at The Collins, Seattle. Hazy orange shade with a fluffy white head. Rings of lace in the glass. Already I can smell the brett in the aroma. Big bretty taste conjuring up vivid, juicy, yet living and fermenting citrus fruits. Slightly one dimensional, but that dimension is absolutely delicious.

Tap at mikkeller sf. Hazy light gold. Nice lemons, peaches, banana and light funk in the aroma. Plenty of juicy orange and peach in the taste, some lemon juice tartness, nice little twist of funky Brett stuff happening - touch of a green apple vibe mixed with a light barnyardy note. Lingering juicy fruits (more orange and peach) and a tasty little citric sour twist. Very refreshing. Medium/thin body. A solid funky thirst quencher. On draught at Brouwer’s Cafe during Logsdon Brewer’s Night on 09/10/2013: Hazy orange-gold color with a medium bone white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lacing. Aroma of brett, malt and spices. Medium body with flavors of funky fruit, herbal yeast and earthy malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering spicy yeast aftertaste. Well-executed Saison all around.
