Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

This beer is lovely, thanks to Oakes for the find :) it has a lot of Turkish dried apricot character in all respects. The color, the juicy middle, the fructose finish, the balancing acidity. The lively hop and brett add extra dimensions, allowing both to sneak into tasty and proper pockets of happiness. The brett is apparent most in the aroma, and as the palate attenuates, in the finish. The natural lemon candy and chewing stick of licorice sweetness is one of the many things that make this beer outstandingly characterful and multi-dimensional. The hop is another. Gorgeous. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

8 oz from tap at Volo. Paleish translucent yellow with big white fluffy head that eventually drops to a film. Nose pretty delicate sugary fruity sweet with bubblegum hints. Rather faint. More bretty dustiness and animal funkiness as it warms, even medicinal notes at points. Tastes mellow sweet but continues with a bunch of strange kind of bitterness Im no fan of. Very dry finish. Carbonation modest to moderately active. Not too refreshing Id say. Dunno about this, I guess I just dont like my Saisons this dry without any refreshing or fruity characteristics. Cant imagine having this after a hard days work in summer.

Clear gold and long lasting white head. Smells very funky and earthy. Incredibly bretty, very dry, huge flavour with a light body, a bit minty. Really hits the mark, I had to order a second one to make sure it was really this good. Impressive beer.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2017 Poured from an older 750 ml bottle with a best by date of 02/2017. Aroma is fruit with a lot of pineapple, citrus and other tropical fruit. Some light cherry notes. Ight grain notes. Moderate phenolic characteristics with peppery and herbal, woodsy notes. This beer is a gusher. Pours a hazy, copper orange with a large, rocky, fluffyy, slightly off-white head that exhibits good retention as it slowly fades into itself. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light grain and caramel notes. Moderate pineapple with lighter citrus and tropical fruit. Some pear and red apple as well. Moderate phenolic notes with a bitter, herbal and woodsy note as well as some light peppery notes. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a saison with nice fruit notes and decent phenolics. The carbonation is a major problem though and you lose about half the bottle (be sure to open it in the sink). The phenolic note could also be better as it has the bitter, woodsy note that can come across a bit medicinal.

Gusher bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with lots of bubbly white head that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma is huge funky horse blanket brett, hint of lemon and grassy notes. Taste follows with a hint of spicy floral notes on the back end, but brett dominates. Dry finish, bubbly carbonation, good stuff.

Incredible mouthfeel with a smooth carbonation and creaminess. Taste notes of heather honey with a floral, funky finish. The carbonation is what makes this beer special as the bubbles are very small and almost champagne-like. A different saison compared to the standards, but a must taste!

Tap (Riga Craft Beer Festival 2016)
Orange, flat. Very bretty aroma, a bit sweet, apricot everywhere. More a clean brett, less a grunge of farmhouse funk. A bit watery. Tangy fruity taste and finish. Odd one, thinnish, could benefit from more body as an 8% beer, perhaps.
