COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The triple, or ’tripel’ style ale is probably the one style most commonly brewed by breweries is all of Flanders. Pure pilsner malt with a touch of oats provides a slightly sweet malty profile balanced by a judicious amount of whole cone noble Hallertau hops. Our triple is characterized by complex yet mildly spicy character from the compliment of traditional spices.

Bouteille de 750ml (b.b. 04/2017). Un fort pétillement caractésise la robe jaune légèrement trouble. Un nez bien épicé avec du malt blond un peu sucré. Une bouche piquante marquée par les épices et le gaz carbonique. Elle est longue, bourrative et brûle légèrement la gorge. Pas ma meilleure de cette brasserie.

Draught. Cloudy orange with a fading off white bubbly head. Notes of orange, citrus, pepper, coriander, honey, blood orange, biscuit, bread. Watery to oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

Some fleshy fruity apricot and other fruits in teh aroma. There’s a bit of alcohol here too. Palate is thin, and almost a bit watery, which actually makes it quite light. Belgian yeast fingerprint directs the taste. Vaguely covers teh alcohol in the mouth. Boring and clean belgian tripel - it’s not estery enough for me. Drinkability is at least pretty good.

Draft taster at Churchkey. Cloudy yellow with small white head. A: herbal garden, a yeasty spicy mess. The taste is the same, with yet more herbs. Yuck. Not a fan.

Bottle:   Dark and dirty straw, hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Smells American, very bready, but also very musty and barnish.   Suppose that is where the farmhouse spot comes in.   Full bodied.   Sweet bready finish, musty, barnish, and VERY yeasty.   Decent American example, wished it were more floral tho.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of herb, spice, honey, citrus. Tastes of herb, citrus, light spice. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

This is quite tasty. I get a nice tingly spice aroma that come through my plugged up nose. Flavor is zesty, with just a hint of banana. Very tingly on the tongue. Almost too tingly, only real complaint. Been looking for a tripel like this for a while.

Tap at Brewdog Camden. Clear golden yellow colour with a white head. Some malts on palate. Semi sweet taste. Very balanced. Medium to full body. Very drinkable.
