cloudy yellow, smooth white head. Aroma is brety, slightly orangy, somewhat yeasty spicy, very very dry, Aroma is like a very very good saison. Flavor is citrussy, slightly sourish, very dry, spicy, the brett works way well in this one, and the complexity is high, while still coming out well blended. Bottle. Light gusher, hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Nose has brett (barnyard), citrus, herbs, fruit. Much the same things in the flavour: Citrus, wood, grapes, barnyard, hay, grass, light bread, spices, cloves. Light/medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, little sweetness, fine bitterness, mild acidic. Crisp and refreshing, perhaps a bit one tracked on spices and citrus. Good drink anyway. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2015
750, capped. Wow, had never even heard of this one. Saw bottles yesterday, bought two, already going back for more after drinking one of them. Pours a hazy bright medium gold with a dense and pillowy platinum blond head that lasts quite a while, leaving tons of streaked webby lace. Big tangy tart nose; the peppercorns and the yeast and the brett combine to create a very intricately interwoven sharp fruity note, like a concentrated tart note somewhere between a tangerine and a grapefruit. Yow. Really nice. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Light hay and grass and floral notes way down in the base of the mid palate, with a beautiful tangy acidic fruit note riding high over the top--the brett and peppercorns deliver a combination far greater than the sum of their parts without a doubt. Crisp tart sharp finish. Easy repeater. No idea what this might do with time in the basement. Probably not patient enough to find out, either. bhensonb (15628) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Capped 750 from Bine and Vine. Pours hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma is lightly citrus sour - but maybe an unusual citrus. Med body, nearly. Flavor is pleasantly citrusy sour. Moderately so. Good stuff. marcus (10584) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 2, 2015
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours Hazy gold with a transient off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty light malt flavor that is pleasantly sour with a nice yeast presence. The finish is a lttle bitter. vyvvy (6639) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2015
On tap at the tasting room - Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma is peppery with wild yeast, earthiness, wood and bugs. It has a medium smooth body with a light amount of carbonation. The flavor stats with herbs, wild yeast, pale malt, peach skins and light sourness. The finish has dried fruits. Nice.
