COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fishermen enjoy a beverage while casting away. Whether fishing or imbibing, there are limits, whether it be a 5 leader or 5 liters. Saisons were brewed back in the day for farm workers with a 5 liter daily limit, a satiating standard that would allow for ample thirst quenching in any condition while still being able to complete the task at hand, both then and now. Our session-style Szechuan Brett was designed to do just that. Whether farming or fishing, a little lighter beer extends the limit, a little pepper spice provides a little more character without over doing. What ever you limit is, enjoy our Szech ’n Brett, have a good catch, we do!

Tap. Hazy orange-golden color with white head. Aroma is peppery, wild yeasts, peach funk. Taste is doughy, peppery, wild yeasts again, peach again. Peppery finish. High carbonation, and quite heavy, as most other Logsdons I’ve had - nice!

Bottle in Winter Park over Christmas. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Spiced, peppery, dry, straw, slight funk aromas. Dry, floral, spice, fruity, straw, peppery flavors.

750ml capped bottle gushed when I snapped the cap and pours a hazy golden color with a finger and a half of fizzy white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing on the glass. Aroma is pepper and basil with some lemon and grains. Taste is a lemony tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness finishing with the basil and pepper notes. Light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation. Overall, a well crafted brew that suits the style well. Recommended.

Bottle in Winter Park with jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma has notes of green tea, herbs, black pepper, light funk, some fruit, and grass. Bone dry. A little twangy. Blood orange and citrus. Ok but not my favorite.

Cloudy golden pour with a single finger head. Major carbonation, in fact the bottle gushed a bit. Aroma is light and peppery. Light bodied. Slightly tart and floral, lemon and lime along with some cherries develop as you drink this. The body is really nice and fluffy, despite being light. Pretty nice beer. I could drink a lot of this.

Tap (Riga Craft Beer Festival 2016)
Sour funky aroma, a bit crotchy, some citrus. Light palate, moussey carbonation. Light malts in the palate, a bit of fruity. Simple and refreshing. Finish is spicy and fruity. A bit yeasty perhaps? Some corn later is less good.

19-OCT-2016, draft @Taphouse. Almost clear golden with a low white head. Bitter, tart, dry. Lemon’s, spicy, testy, fruity. Very complex but still very easy drinking. Fantastic Saison.
