COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fishermen enjoy a beverage while casting away. Whether fishing or imbibing, there are limits, whether it be a 5 leader or 5 liters. Saisons were brewed back in the day for farm workers with a 5 liter daily limit, a satiating standard that would allow for ample thirst quenching in any condition while still being able to complete the task at hand, both then and now. Our session-style Szechuan Brett was designed to do just that. Whether farming or fishing, a little lighter beer extends the limit, a little pepper spice provides a little more character without over doing. What ever you limit is, enjoy our Szech ’n Brett, have a good catch, we do!

Bottle: The aroma consists of pineapple, spice, pepper, citrus, and brett. It’s a slow gusher. It pours a hazy dull golden-orange with a large white head that quickly settles to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor with light-moderate citrus, pineapple, and mild sweet tarts. The finish has light-moderate lemon, lemon peel, and spice. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Tap at Wiz. Bretty nose with, citrus, pepper, apple and yogurt as it warms up a bit. Slightly creamy on the palate with spritzy carbonation. Well-balanced with the dry hopping really lasting throughout the glass I had. Finish is bretty, citrusy with some light spicy bitterness. Super refreshing and enjoyable. My first Logsdon Farmhouse beer and it will not be my last.

75 cl bottle. BBE 06/2019. Thanks Euphemos!
Pours hazy yellow color with a small head. Mild sourish notes on the aroma, lemon, some distinct bretta, wheat and earth. Lemon and yeast on the flavor, wheat, some mild leathery notes and peppery spices. Unfortunately this bottle had partly froze during transportation, the sharpest edge probably lost, bretta is a bit muted down, overall pleasant. Surprisingly tasty despite the mishap.
