That's some disparity in ratings. Cloudy, dull beige. Aroma is nutmeggy, phenolic, wheaty. Full body. Tangy, with lean pale malt notes. Banana, spices...brilliantly balanced. Reminds me a lot of Denison's.

hazy gold, foamy white head. spicy aroma of clove, mace, pepper, yeast and wheaty malt. tart lemony notes and some mixed fruit sweetness. has the great "banana milkshake" creamy mouthfeel that I love so much about denison's wheat. a damn fine weizen.

Bottle. Mild banana and clove/pepper aroma. Nearly clear yellow color - looks more like a Kristall. Clean, crisp taste of primarily banana with slight hint of clove. Palate a bit on the watery side - not as ’meaty’ as I like my Weizens to be. An overall enjoyable beer.

50cl bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy orange with a ton of white frothy head. Smells like citrus and yeast. Very bready taste with a little bit of spice. Very smooth palate with a short finish. Quite enjoyable.

Big white head, slightly cloudy golden amber... decent aroma, though thin, clove citrus pepper... different, not entirely traditional, decently peppery/spicy, some clove, quite dry in the finish, somewhat fruity, lots of flavor... medium bodied, different, interesting, flavorful... love when a beer tastes better than it smells...

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2010
It’s unclear, yellow-golden with a huge, creamy head and the aroma has notes of banana, wheat and mild yeast. The flavour is sweet with notes of banana, yeast, wheat and the finish is spicy. It’s soft, mild – but has enough body to make it interesting and a bit above the normal good weissbier.

(bottled)A better than ’typical’ Hef , even though the customary aspects are in the house , its the banana esters, they’re generously rich , infact the whole body is deep and not sicky though, some cutting dryness is cool.
