Bill Becker (1037) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - SEP 21, 2016
750ml bottle. Dated May 10th, 2014 from lot 43, 2012. $2 Looks finely reddish brown, hazy to cloudy. Good head of foam. Smells bitter, fruit tarty, a little bit of the sweet. Overall, kinda nasty. Tastes worse than it smells. The tart fruit comes across as spoiled, the bitterness acentuates the ill feeling that I have for what it does to my palate. A few sweet notes here and there. Mouthfeel is okay. I paid $2 and feel overcharged.

750 ml bottle. Slightly unclear deep reddish body with a small and fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma is mainly malty with a faint hint of acidic berries. Flavor is sweet and sour, malt, fruit, acidic berries, cherry, yeast and low bitterness. It’s a bit unusually, at least as a beer for Christmas, it might even be some unintended flavors here, but this beer just suits me fine this time. (Cellered bottle)

KRS 131214. Red dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is spices, roasted malt, hop, dried fruits. Flavour is spices, roasted malt, hop, dried fruits, yeast, berries. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

tandembrauer (1485) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2015
At Cardinal Den Store Juleøl Testen 2014. Pours hazy red-brown. Aroma of raisins, plums. Taste fruity-sour; surprisingly thin bodied.

Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, some metallic notes, yeast, spices and berries. Flavor is sweet and sour with some malt, fruitiness, berries and yeast. Medium body, average carbonation.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2014
Bottle, 75cl. A cloudy dark amber beer with a dense, light beige head leaving some lacings. The aroma has an acidic touch, with dried fruits, and a touch of fresh fruits. The flavor is a bit too acidic, with a faint roasted touch. Prunes, some raisins, a little bitterness and some fruity sourness. Full body and a pleasant, soft carbonation. Long finish with fruityness, some prunes and a sour touch. Rather uninteresting this one, wonder if the acidity is intentional. 141213

Bottle 750ml @ Geokkjer
Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes malt, caramel, dried fruits, alcohol and hint of sourness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, caramel, dried fruity and sourish finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Holmen2 (3638) - NORWAY - NOV 9, 2014
From bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 09.11.14. Hazy dark orange. Beige head and lacing. Hints of overripe fruits and berries. Slightly sour. Flat. Sourness in aftertaste.

Rune (12765) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 21, 2014
750ml bottle, 8 % abv, from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Unclear dark brown coloured body. Dotted spots on the glassware. Tiny off-white head. Aromas of brown malts and honey, with a little tartness beneath. Malt-fruity flavours of plums, sweet berries, some Christmas spices, and brown malts. Dry, tart and sweet ending. So and so. It did not managed to create any Christmas feel in August (shared with Stefan, Elisabeth and Finn, session at Finns, Tromsø 07.08.2014).

Chuckaduck (674) - Highland Heights, Kentucky, USA - AUG 13, 2014
750ml bottle. 8/13/14. Exploded upon opening. Went nuts for about 7 minutes. Pours red-amber with a thin light-amber head. Aroma is fruity, earthy, oxidized, basement, musty, sweet. Taste is sweet, fruity, some leather, oxidation; finish is a sticky fruit jam. Mouth feel is oily with some grit. No lacing. Carbonation is low (after the initial eruption). Not sure if infected or just a bad batch; this is the second time this has happened with this beer though. Not good, sadly. Drain pour.
