To call C-Note very hoppy would be an understatement. Its brewed with the seven "C" hops (Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger) and pushes the bitterness limit to 100 International Bitterness Units.

C-Note bottle from World Beer Market served in a pint glass. It pours a deep amber with a nice spicy malt and fruity hop aroma. Medium-full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is well balanced bitter fruits and biscuity malts. A spot on IPA.

Being also sold at Walmart shouldnt be a good sign... Beautiful bright amber color, red copper, with medium sized head. The enthusiasm for this beer, given by name and appearance, quickly deflates; its a very ordinary beer, almost more Pale Ale or Amber Ale than India, with dryish mouthfeel, simple caramel profile, strong bitterness, and serious lack of hop quality.
Clean beer, just not exciting.

22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty, dank, and resinous, with hints of biscuit and barnyard. Taste/Palate: creamy; starts sweet; finishes bitter.

Bomber from Roths. Very deep amber in color. Sweet bready nose with a touch of hops. Breadiness up front with a bit of malt. Decent amount of hoppiness. Some English qualities. More earthy than anything.

"after the greatness that was the ba doppelbock, this was a letdown. average beer at best, far below average double ipa, especially from the Pacific NW. Maybe old, but again, no date. muddled malts and some hop bitterness in the flavor, but little aroma to speak of. another meh. Better second time "

Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is fairly hoppy, and has a lot of grass notes to it. Taste is only slightly bitter, and has a subtle residual sweetness to it. Very drinkable and approchable for an IPA.

Split bomber imported from Portland with sherm1016...pours a foggy orange...may have gotten some bottom yeast into my glass which changes taste slighty. Resin / citrus / pine in the nose. Sweeter taste with malt influence. Bitter finish....good / tasty.

No bottle date A: Pours a nice orange ale with under a single finger of creamy foam which falls to a sheet of the same. Nice rope lace. Excellent clarity. S: Pine, resin, citrus, black olive (?), some nice sweetness as well. T: Sweeter than I anticipated. Bitter with some nice resin style hops and some citrus flavors. Above avg, but not by much. M: Medium bodied with decent carb and a semi dry finish. O: Not a bad beer at all, but not something I would spend much time seeking out. From notes verbatim on 10/27/10 A: Semi-murky copper ale with low/no head. S: Pine, oranges, grapefruits. Floral tones in here as well. T: Lower bitterness than I had anticipated. Tons of hops, tons of flavors. Yum! Resiny at the end. M: Lower carbonation and higher body then I expected. D: Great beer at the price point ($4). Serving type: bottle 09-26-2011

Bomber from Albertsons. Pours a mostly clear dark reddish copper color with a small white head. A light caramel and fruity nose. The flavor is bitter, green, fruity, light caramel. Pretty mellow really. Malty balance but defined by green raw hops. OK.
