Hazy orange. Pine aroma. Taste of citrus hops and has a sweet toffee finish. Almost no head.

Shared growler. Pours a deep coppery-amber, nice aromas of fruitiness and pine, a touch a malt sweetness. The malt is more pronounced in the flavour, giving this a decent body, a little spicy kick, biscuity mixed with dank pine. Very enjoyable. stevoj (5864) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Bottle from Berts Growler Garage. Label lists as Imperial, ABV says IPA...good catch, moderators. Pours out nice dark copper with soft, airy head. Astringent hops rule the aroma, and taste too. Body seems on the light side, finishes fairly abruptly also. Seems like it could have been a bit bigger with a touch of something else, but what? KansaiBeerLvrs (5498) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 12, 2015
C-Note bottle from World Beer Market served in a pint glass. It pours a deep amber with a nice spicy malt and fruity hop aroma. Medium-full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is well balanced bitter fruits and biscuity malts. A spot on IPA.

Being also sold at Walmart shouldn’t be a good sign... Beautiful bright amber color, red copper, with medium sized head. The enthusiasm for this beer, given by name and appearance, quickly deflates; it’s a very ordinary beer, almost more Pale Ale or Amber Ale than India, with dryish mouthfeel, simple caramel profile, strong bitterness, and serious lack of hop quality.
Clean beer, just not exciting.
22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty, dank, and resinous, with hints of biscuit and barnyard. Taste/Palate: creamy; starts sweet; finishes bitter. mjg74 (3199) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 19, 2015
Bomber from Roth’s. Very deep amber in color. Sweet bready nose with a touch of hops. Breadiness up front with a bit of malt. Decent amount of hoppiness. Some English qualities. More earthy than anything. slowrunner77 (13171) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
"after the greatness that was the ba doppelbock, this was a letdown. average beer at best, far below average double ipa, especially from the Pacific NW. Maybe old, but again, no date. muddled malts and some hop bitterness in the flavor, but little aroma to speak of. another meh. Better second time " Sarlacc83 (2430) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 9, 2014
A: Golden with a fluffy receding head.
N: Pine, earth, band-aid, tangerine, pineapple.
T: Moderately sweet with some hop bitterness.
M: Resin with a medium body.
O: a Decent Imperial Pale Ale. Nothing special. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is fairly hoppy, and has a lot of grass notes to it. Taste is only slightly bitter, and has a subtle residual sweetness to it. Very drinkable and approchable for an IPA.
