5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle:   Yellowish straw, fine sediment, head dies quickly leaving hardly any lacing, light carbonation.
Soil, straw, and hay on the nose.   Grassy tongue, sweet straw, luckily not as much soil as I had on the
nose.   Smooth, decent mouthfeel, moderate body.   Sweet straw finish.   Seems fairly malty and sweet for
your average Helles.   Bigger, but I think I enjoy that more than most. Reid (2558) - Salem, Oregon, USA - DEC 1, 2010

Typical lager in appearance,Pale ,clear golden with a rather fetching thick and creamy white head.
Good aromas, of bread dough and cut hay.Liked it.
A very smooth and well integrated taste..the buiscuity malts and hops blend near seamlessly.
OK palate for the style but the extreme balance gives the impression of boredom!
But overall this is a charming and very drinkable PNW lager. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 9, 2009
22 oz bottle, poured hazy yellow with a massive white head that died down pretty quickly. Aroma is yeasty, some cracker and a little bit of honey. Flavor is heavy on the cracker, a lot of yeast, light honey and some apple. Mouthfeel is crisp and very light. Alcohol presence feels nonexistent. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - OCT 19, 2009
Bright gold, strong carbonation, white fluffy head. Soft dry hay/grassy aroma, little whiff of saaz? hops. Light bodied with a touch of table sugar up front that quickly rounds out to a creamy mouthfeel. Finish is a bit of wheat for character and body, even a bit weighted for the style, perfect for me. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Bottle... Poured clear golden with a white head. Malted, crisp lager aroma. Well carbonated to accent the refreshing hops. Creamy and mellowly sweet malts appear before the sweet finish. My type of lager.

Draught. Poured Pale yellow with medium head. Light lacing. Malty and grassy aroma. Malty flavour with a bit of a hop edge. Light enough to be drunk on a warm day. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 8, 2008
On tap at the Hedge House in Portland, OR--Poured a cloudy golden body with a medium white head, Some piquant spiced hoppiness, but not much. Lots of clear malts and cereal notes. Tasted a little like Shredded Wheat cereal. Finished clean with the distinct English Lompoc yeast character. Ok.
