Draught @ the ever so hot Lompoc Hedge House. Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head. Nose is sweet corn and a grainy note. Flavour is subdued corn but still sweet with a slight bitter finish... Meh...

[2960-20100626] Tap. Herbal flower and a little plastic bitter apple aroma with some doughy bread wheat. Wheat-like apple sauce flavour has a little yeasty bread dough. Medium body. Average.

2010-06-26. Crisp yellow body, tiny white head fades quickly. Pleasant light bitterness throughout, very light florals, pale malt. 6+ Aroma is mild with light floral hop character. 6+ Average palate. Decent but mild pilsener. On Tap at the brewpub, Portland.

Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 23, 2008
On tap at Hedge House in SE Portland, OR--Poured a golden-yellow body with a thin white head. Spicily hopped, piquant fruity earthy grassy nose. Mild lemon citrus on the back of the tongue with evidence of bright stinky Saaz hops. Sharp and assertive and finished a bit dry and prickly.

Not quite up to Laurelwoods PNW, but I have to give a shout out to any brewery that tries to make a Pilsener anything but a light session.

On tap at New Old Lompoc, NW Portland. Pale gold colour with thin white head. Lovely hop aroma, sherbert. Lager malt. Bit of Saaz upfront, then lots of hop on end. Some lemony citrus. Very odd lager. You shouldn’t be able to throw NW hops at a pilsner and make it work. However the flavours are delicate, nice, great hops.
