Had this on tap at the 2nd anniv. of Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR. Colour... Pepsi! Nose... burnt brown sugar, bakers sugar, toffee and medium bodied coffee. Palate... frothy and somewhat boozy, slightly thin mouthfeel, dark chocolate, decaf and a lengthy, roasty finish. troopie (2341) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JAN 10, 2009
Draught at Saraveza. Poured black with thin fast dissipating head. No lacing. Faint aroma of malt and coffee. Flavour of malt, with coffee, chocolate and roast notes. Full lasting malt finish. with more coffee notes. A worthy porter boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 4, 2008
Nitro at Bailey’s Tap Room... Poured black with amber highlights towards the bottom of the glass; with a huge, frothy head. Aroma was earthy and roasted with maybe wood chips. Super silky palate with dark malt notes, a little bit of bitter hops and dark chocolate.
