Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Comes as: "Lompoc Special Draft". Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a HUGE off-white head, shaving foam style with a long retention. Caramellish nose with some overripe dark fruits as well. Medium body, carbonation is a bit much, overripe dark fruit, subtle roast, some vanilla. Somewhat malt bitter finish. 250113 ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Bottle from 16 Tons, Eugene. Pours a medium reddish brown with little tan head. Funky, yeasty, earthy aroma, with just a hint of sweetness. Medium body, busy mouthfeel with a long finish that is malt forward at first, slowly turning into a somewhat herbal hop finish. Very interesting, would like to try it on draft. Pours a deep hazy brown with a finger of eggshell foam that settles out quickly... Aromas of Cheerios, honey wheat bread, smokey wood pulp. On the palate we have a malt bomb but the malt profile remains complex. Chewy wheat bread, toasted pumpkin seeds, fruity yeast and the faintest touches of citrus and hop bitterness keeps the beer pretty clean overall despite its chewy, round mouthfeel it stays palatable and fresh. reebtogi (6270) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 31, 2012
650ml bomber pours a reddish brown color with a finger of light tan head that leaves a spotty lacing. Aroma is slightly smoky with some light roasted grains and caramel and some pleasant hops. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with some roasted grain and herbal and citrus hop bitterness. A very unique tasting brew that one will either love it or hate it. I loved it as it is nicely balanced and has that unique taste going for it. Well done.

On tap at Uber Tavern, pours an opaque dark reddish / orange brown with a big beige head. Aroma of caramel malts, toasted malt and brown sugar. Flavour of toasted and caramel malts, toasted nuts and dry bread. Finishes on the dry bready notes. Pretty uninteresting but decent. chris2431 (241) - Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2012
