Aroma: Dark smoke peaty malt aroma with a light lingering of hops.
Appearance: Dark brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Dark roasty malt with the light smoke and good amount of chocolate.
Palate: Dry finish, with a good smoke Mouthfeel.
Overall: Lighter version of a smoked porter like more smoke but this was subtle and very nice for the masses.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Nose is old chocolate that is oxidized and smoke. Flavor is ash, wood, chocolate, and supper bitter cocoa dust. Mouthfeel is medium thickness and kind of salty. Long finish with noticeable alcohol.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Marked as Lompoc Special Draft. Pours with a light, off-white head over a hazy deep amber body. Aroma of sarsaparilla, toffee and chocolate fudge. Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark brown body with a thin, bubbly, white head.
Smell: Dark malty scents of cocoa and toffee accompanied by a rather sharp note of smoked, charred grains.
Taste: Chocolate and toasted toffee precede a blast of charry grains full of roasty and smokey qualities. Earthy hops with a medium bitterness. Touch of dried herbs. Additional hints of char and cocoa on the dry finish that last well into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: Worth a try. Lompoc’s LSD is fairly well-balanced and drinkable.
