Cask at the Bull. Yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head and a light haze. Aroma is fresh cereal grainy with a little straw and an herbal / floral hop note. Flavour is composed of light cereal, little grainy straw a faint citrus earthy hop character. I paired this beer with their spicy pig wings which brought out and highlighted the hop character quite nicely. Palate is light and easy going, little grain tannin and nicely cask conditioned. Really solid golden. MrTipple (4966) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2015

Sampled on draught at the Bull, Highgate. Clear, amber colour with a creamy white head. Very nice biscuity malt taste, well-balanced with floral hops. A simple, straightforward, low-strength IPA. beautifully made, excellent balance and highly drinkable. LBC have created a really pleasant beer in the classic English tradition. Much less citrusy than advertised - tasted like English hops to me. Has the recipe been changed?

[cask at the 2013 London Drinker Festival] Very slightly hazy golden yellow pour, large, fresh-looking white head. The aroma is lemon and orange citrus, grassy straw. Bitter citrus on the flavour – surprisingly so, lemon, pithy and very good jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Cask @ The White Horse On Parsons Green. Pours clear light gold with a tiny white head. The nose is bright lemon peel, some dried grass and general bucolic aromas. The taste is simple light citrus, a bit of piss and meaty lemon. Dry grassy finish. Decent sweet malt presence. Light body, quite flavorful for the low ABV. Overall, a pretty simple but pleasant drink.
