COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Initially Pioneer I: Yellow Rose, later on became a regular.

A SMaSH, Single Malt and Single Hop, IPA using a caboodle (technical term for a large amount of malt) of malt and a new hop released in 2012 called Mosaic (HBC 369). It is a daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14), one of our favorite hops. Whole cone Mosaic is used for bittering, flavoring, and aroma in the kettle; it is also massively dry hopped. The beer is named after a Texas Heroine.

Tasting notes: chalk-white head with a very clean malt backbone. The hops impart strong grapefruit, pineapple, and blueberry flavor and aroma. A strong beer that is extremely quaffable.

Nose full of pine and citrus. Some earth in the background. Effervescent pale gold with a thick chunky bright white head. Retention for days. Thick froth left on the side of the glass. Pine. Grapefruit. Bread. Velvet mouthfeel. Crisp finish. Super well balanced. Just damn fine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at salt and time in Austin. Hazy light orange with small white head. Light citrus nose. Taste is tart, spicy, citrus, yeast, some funk, a nice bitterness. Quite good.

Yellow Rose IPA has a very thick, frothy, off-white head, a yellow-gold, hazy appearance, especially following the "swish & pour", and heavy glass lacing. Aroma is of sharp, piney hops, and the flavor is of pine, citrus fruit, sweet, white bread, and overall sugar. Mouthfeel is medium, and Yellow Rose IPA finishes mostly dry. RJT

This is good beer. Pours cloudy honey color with a big, thick, fluffy off white colored head that is fully retained. Really nice aroma with notes of citrus and flowers. Taste is bitter. Really nice balance. Hops stand out but are not overwhelming. A go to IPA for Texans.

Delicious craft IPA! Cloudy light golden straw colour with fluffy white head; lemon cake & mineral on the nose; melon & floral taste; lemon drops and zest followed by straw on finish; medium to full bodied palate. Great!

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2017 This is one of my favorite Texas IPAs for sure. It's daaaaank on the ol' nose, dank like a wet field of Hillsboro alfalfa. It's fruity after that, fruity like Pebbles. I love drinking this beer.
