Weyull, ah thank thet thisyar is pert durn goot idear fer drankin tiday cuz it comes frum FTW. Thas Foht Wirth Teksizz. Not sure why I spent so many years fearing this beer. Not prone to drinking this sort, but could also see that one could all night long. Starts off with a flavor that brings back memories of similar beers. Whuzzit? DMS? Anyway, if so I have an odd affliction that likes it (to a degree) but it fades around half way through and just kind of craps out. Doesn't taste the least bit bad to me. Just doesn't taste anything anywhere near GOOD. Now y'all fits that Sam Antonya thang upyar cuz it be gone an' brewed up yonder in the metraplex.

Watery yellow color, light ricey aroma. Ricey flavor, touch of hops, tastes like michelob.

Well I was in the gas station this evening and saw this for the first time. I thought what the hell let's try it. And the sign on the cooler said "There's a new sheriff in town". Its LOADED with adjuncts and has a nasty smell. Doesn't taste good either. Good thing I bought a single! A new sheriff in town? Yup he doesn't carry a gun and his name is Barney Fife!

The only time this stuff is good is when you are tubing on the Guadalupe River. Other than that it is not special at all.

methinks they've changed they recipe slightly along with the label. More of an Ale taste than in years gone by. definitely better out of a bottle than a uncoated can. Good dive-bar aiming fluid for shooting pool. Cheap.

Kind of wet and tasteless. Starts off like a Budweiser, finishes like a Miller Lite. Oh well, at least Texas has... oh wait, we don'e have anything :(

Not bad if you are in a longneck mood. But typical macro junk. Light, sweat from the corn I think. and not much in the way of hoppy bitterness. Better drink it cold and fast.

Light, fizzy, and unremarkable in every way, this beer's only good point was that it was once used in a song by Kinky Friedman ("Waitress, oh, waitress, bring me a Lone star... no, make it a case! And waitress, oh, waitress, come sit on my face!").

A great way to learn about beer. Lone Star combines the underachievement of a small-time beer, with a hint of the possibility of quality ingredients. Fun and light, Lone Star allows the beer drinker to relax without worrying about naming flavours or contents- it's beer- plain and simple. Enjoy!
