Probably my favorite of the macro-style beers. Unique. A bit like PBR. I wish I could get it here in KS to drink during the hot summer months. Audio (18) - san diego, California, USA - APR 15, 2004
LIke they say -- "Everything is bigger in Texas". For an All-american, white-trash, piss yellow lager this is one of the bigger and better of the bunch. Even the label looks powerful. Don't Mess with Texas. OD40oz (774) - Box Elder, South Dakota, USA - JAN 23, 2005
This was definitely not as good as Old MIl, PBR, Budweiser, Blatz, Schmidts or Rainier. It has a skunky smell and somewhat of a skunky Schlitz aftertaste. It is vitamin enriched piss color with almost no head at all. It wasn’t too bad overall. I would have to say this is the best thing to come out of Texas since good ol’ George himself.......George Strait that is. incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - JAN 26, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2007 Fairly good beer. Tastes much like old style, might be exactly the same actually. A little tough to find in MN , but a few places have it in 6 packs, tasty brew! tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Actually not bad. But cold beer on a hot day usually works great anyway. Not very bitter and kinda watery sweet. Very carbonated.
