Keep this waste of a beer in Texas, I've drank moonshine that goes down easier.
Great name. Great bottle. Bad beer....but it is about as bad as beer called Lone Star should be...so actually pretty good in that regard. Bill Becker (1775) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 25, 2017
From Jun 2007
Purchased at Liquor Shed in Casper.
Poured from 16oz can a pale gold with a large head of foam that sharnk quickly to almost nothing by the end of the glass.
The smell is a typical macro lager smell...corn and sweetish malt.
The taste is nothing special..big surprise. Weak malt character that's mostly sweet and sticky, hop character is very subdued. There's just some slight tartness that weakens the sweetness a tad but not enough for my liking. Blah. Once is enough for this one. Can't recommend. apopielarz (36) - - OCT 8, 2017
Bottle on San Antonio river walk. Great atmosphere made this typical American lager more enjoyable...

12 oz. bottle poured to a shaker at the Silverado Grill in Elmhurst, IL., showing a clear, golden color, an average layer of soft white head foam, and some wavy lacing. The nose was light lager scent, light grain, corn, subtle sweetness, and some hints of grass & greenery. The taste was somewhat similar notes, light+ bodied, with average carbonation that exuded a hint of sulfur, fair texture that became a little thin & watery, and modest, earthy bitterness, resulting in a rather bland flavor profile. A former Pabst fan from "the good ole days", and still not a bad hydrator when the choice is limited,...like today! Thought I'd give this a try with food since Texas has been in the news so much of late. I know,... not produced in Texas! Grumbo (3974) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2017
Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

Clear yellow, mild aroma of corn and grains, at least it’s not a skunky aroma. Mild flavor, really almost devoid of anything... light grains and wheat. What’s the point?
Atom (2572) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Another one I used to drink often. Pint can pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Big sweet malt and corn aroma. Light taste similar to aroma. Bland and boring but non offensive and drinkable. ffbot (442) - Oakland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2017
Bottle smells of grass and mild sweetness. Taste is similar, light and inoffensive. It’s pabst version 2 gripweed57 (2863) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 15, 2017
From old tasting notes. Pale gold color with a small white head and few small bubbles. Grainy malt aroma has a wisp of fruitiness. Light grainy malt flavor with a brief dry finish. Light hop aftertaste. Thin bodied and somewhat gassy.
