Golden coloured body with a slightly thin off-white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, honey, flowers and hints of hops. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour at first with a definite yeast and wheat flavour and some strong coriander seed freshness. Afertaste shows a lot of depth with the honey, floral notes and coriander seed the strongest. Overall, a nice rich beer with a great yeastie flavour and a touch of honey sweetness. Nice to sample and a variation from what I’d typically drink, but I recommend it for others - a solid beer for the style. I sampled this pint on draught for US$5.00 at the brewpub on 08-June-2014 in Lone Tree, Colorado. UncleKorm (1337) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 19, 2014

December 28th, 2011 - A few days after Christmas I got one last Christmas gift: a flight of Lone Tree Brewing’s beers. Prime facie, there’s nothing notable about this brewery, but it’s close to home. It’s the local British pub I always dreamed of but never had until Lone Tree Brewing came along. After sampling their Hefeweizen, I moved on to the Ariadne’s Blonde. The body is somewhat murky, and a dark, almost foxy brown and golden. A small, wafer thin white head sits on top of the brew, but its diminutive dimensions might just be an artifact of sampling the beer from a 4 oz. glass. The smell is above all yeasty, but also adds a touch of orange peel to give the brew appeal (ha!). On the tongue, the Ariadne Blond is sweet, most notably with lots and lots of orange flavors. There might even be enough orange for me to taste the concentrated sweetness of orange juice. The orange flavor is so powerful it feels a little like it is masking the actual brew, but the palate is quenching. Satisfying, and with a long aftertaste to suck on, an overenthusiastic sweetness can mostly be looked over. This is a little like a Hoegaarden with a bag of oranges squeezed into it. In the end, I do prefer more flavor to less.

On tap at Lone Tree poured a hazy gold with a lasting offwhite head. Aroma of straw, fruiuttiness and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, yeast, coriander and citrus with a smooth lingering coriander finish. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 12, 2012
draft. watery dishsoap. thin. corn, rice and dirty esters. the cleaning solution sharpness in the nose is offputting. there’s some sort of fruity esters and acid and a bitter bite on the back, as the beer quickly dissolves seemingly thinner than water, but it’s also quite sweet, in a coors light sort of way. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 27, 2012
