A golden lager, clear as a mountain stream. This is a traditional Bavarian helles, bready and malty with a slight noble hop character. Straight from mamas kitchen!

Poured from 12 oz can into pint glass. Appearance: pours a thin sudsy head, golden color and plenty of carbonation streaming. Aroma: pleasant bready aroma and some grassy hops. Mouthfeel: light and crisp with a pleasant dry finish. Flavor: nice combination of bready malt, a bit of lemon, grassy and floral hops. Overall: delicious lager. Would gladly have this one again.

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with light notes of soap, honey, hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Quite a bit better than expected based on the other two things Ive tried from this brewery. The floral-herbal-honeyish hop aroma is quite attractive and strong enough to keep drawing me back in. There are some quiet off notes, but they are completely forgivable given how light they are and how nice the hops smell. Its not quite as nice in the mouth, being light and watery and having a somewhat rough/husky aftertaste. But all things considered its a perfectly serviceable rendition.

Cold poured from a 12 oz. can into a 16 ounce dimpled mug. Nice, clean aroma. Bight, light, yellow gold colorings. Refreshingly tasty of slight malt and an even hops finishing bite. Super drinkable.

Sample at the Feast of Saint Arnold. Light pale yellow, with a small, off-white head. White bread, light lemon, unripe banana, and straw. Sweet and lightly fruity and tart. Light body, crisp and clean. This is a sharp, flavorful, refreshing and clean beer.

Robe blonde et opaque, pas de mousse. Armes de crales raisins secs et fruits jaunes. Raisins secs, fruits jaunes, houblon en bouche. On fini sur des notes de crales mais malheureusement court en bouche. Texture huileuse. Une bire correcte.

Very pale straw pour with a big rocky head and chunky lacing. Nose is yeasty with faint grassy hops. Light mouthfeel. Nice grassy hop bite, slightly mineral and soft mid-palate, faint orange. Crackery pale malt late in the finish, along with a faintly medicinal bitterness.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, grassy hops and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of doughy malt, herbal hops and slight citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
