Dark and rich porter. Depth with flavors of chocolate, malts, earthy leather. About half inch head in glass and slow to reduce. Balanced creamy, sharp, refreshing. Great finish no hoppy taste and mild bitterness. Was really impressed with this beer. Hard to find even in cooler months in Raleigh area.

Light vanilla and roasted grain nose. Black, medium tan head, little retention. Grain, charcoal, grass. Sweeter vanilla overtones. Medium body, easy carbonation. Quite nice.

Can. Pours deep brown with a large soft brown head. Heavy chocolate aroma. Taste is a slightly sweet chocolate - almost chocolate milk with hints of fruit. Tasty!

On tap. A tasty porter with no apparent flaws, plenty of flavor, and very limited burnt or char character. Mainstream; true to style.

Bottle from Bruisin. Not much aroma. Some fruit (plum?). Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Notes of milk chocolate mousse. Perhaps a little leather. Pretty nice porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2015 Couple of pints on tap. Opaque ebony with a lasting ring of cream. Nose is semi-sweet chocolate and caramel. Tastes of husky charred grain, caramel, dry grass and old coffee with a touch of lactose. Light-medium body has a nice balance and a medium-high carbonation.
