Rich dark porter; received a couple of 6 packs from a friend. Nice foamy head when poured into a glass. Very dark porter. Tastes of chocolate, hazelnut; coffee and toffee. Very enjoyable to drink. A little heavy for consuming more than two. Nice for a cold fall or winter’s day. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 3, 2016
Poured from the can from tavour. Nice thick creamy head. Aroma is nutty, chocolatey. Some roasted grain. I’d say nutty to balance is the dominant flavor here. Palate is medium bodied, sparkley carbonation. Overall not bad, pretty good. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2014

Dark and rich porter. Depth with flavors of chocolate, malts, earthy leather. About half inch head in glass and slow to reduce. Balanced creamy, sharp, refreshing. Great finish no hoppy taste and mild bitterness. Was really impressed with this beer. Hard to find even in cooler months in Raleigh area.

Pours black into a shaker. Mocha head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Chocolate and espresso aromas. Smooth with earthy chocolate and espresso in the lasting finish. geologyguy (1583) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2017

Thanks to Ucusty for the bottle! Wow, what a nice porter. It pours brown with a small but lasting tan head. The aroma is of roasted malt and coffee with a little smoke and lactose. The flavor is very dry and roasted with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, smoke and ash in the finish. Loved it. TheShepherds (54) - chapel hill, North Carolina, USA - JAN 9, 2013

Light vanilla and roasted grain nose. Black, medium tan head, little retention. Grain, charcoal, grass. Sweeter vanilla overtones. Medium body, easy carbonation. Quite nice.
