Tap at the brewery recently. This used to be hoppier or maybe my palate has changed. Not really a "west coast pale ale" as stated on their board but still okay enough to have a couple. Clear amber pour thin khaki head. Aroma is caramel, butter and light stale hop. Hard to believe this is fermented w/ chico yeast as the diacetyl is a little aggressive at times.

Refrigerated 12 oz. alumninum can poured into a snifter. Hazy orange with small off-white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is herbal hops. Darwenus (1113) - Virginia, USA - DEC 27, 2016
I mean, OK, fine, I guess. This beer pours copper colored without much foam. The aroma is malty and the flavor is malty, but not really distinct or rich or interesting. Not bright and hoppy enough to be a good lawnmower beer, but the malt just lays there. Itís not a terrible beer but itís really not much of a beer at all. hopdog (12369) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2016
12oz can. Poured an amber color with an averaged sized head. Earthy, some bread, citrus, and some caramel. Mep3222 (1542) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - JUL 3, 2016
Caramelized malty aroma with piney hops. Taste adds in a bit of a dirty unfiltered yeast taste. Slight sweet malt is the dominant taste but it is mostly balanced by the hops. Not bad and drinkable, but some off balance and a bit too malty to be a refreshing beer.

Bottle - light brown pour, earthy hops, dank, somewhat metallic and dirty. Malty at the end. Minnbrewer (37) - Coon Rapids, Minnesota, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Nice pale ale. Malty without being sweet. Perfect hop balance with excellent flavor. No overpowering aroma like some. Crystal malt is noticeable yet blends into hops on the tongue. I like this beer.

A: A gentle pour still yields a half inch of fine tight tan foam that lingers for several minutes and also laces thickly. Dark gold to pale orange color. Crystal clear but fine sediment is visible in suspension. Great looking beer!
S: Malty toffee with just a light hint of citrus. Orange zest. Aroma very light overall but the beer is very cold.
T: Citrus and pith bitterness upfront with a slight juiciness. Malt backbone just noticeable and gives a little balance.
M: Body is lighter side of medium and frothy but not overly so. Pretty short but clean juicy finish.
O: This pale ale has many negative reviews but I think itís pretty good. Local (to me) brewery means itís widely available, usually very fresh and never terribly expensive. All this adds up to well worth purchasing IMO and recommended. tia (2160) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - AUG 6, 2015
Bottle.from J. Emerson. Dark orangey color with cream head that dissipated. Smells perfumey and lightly piney with a metallic tongue. Flavor is very perfumy then the hops hit. Disjointed.
