COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Peace is a dangerous thing. Peacemaker is a west coast style American Pale Ale that uses several hop varieties to produce a unique and bountiful hop aroma with balanced bitterness. A special blend of American and European malts make this a very well rounded, characterful beer.

Bottle. The pour was a clear medium amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) off-white fluffy head that reduced to a few puddles and a medium collar of residue, producing some excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was kind of light with a grain malt, floral hops and a mild earthy yeast and had notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit). The taste was lightly bittersweet with a mild caramel note at first, then became intensely hoppy and quite bitter with a nice hint of citrus towards the end. The flavor lasted an average duration with the nice bitter hoppy taste left to linger. Mouthfeel was a bit beyond light in body with a dry oily texture and a almost prickly carbonation. Overall an impressive Pale Ale that had more of a hoppy flavor than I expected...

I mean, OK, fine, I guess. This beer pours copper colored without much foam. The aroma is malty and the flavor is malty, but not really distinct or rich or interesting. Not bright and hoppy enough to be a good lawnmower beer, but the malt just lays there. It’s not a terrible beer but it’s really not much of a beer at all.

12oz can. Poured an amber color with an averaged sized head. Earthy, some bread, citrus, and some caramel.

Caramelized malty aroma with piney hops. Taste adds in a bit of a dirty unfiltered yeast taste. Slight sweet malt is the dominant taste but it is mostly balanced by the hops. Not bad and drinkable, but some off balance and a bit too malty to be a refreshing beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - light brown pour, earthy hops, dank, somewhat metallic and dirty. Malty at the end.

Nice pale ale. Malty without being sweet. Perfect hop balance with excellent flavor. No overpowering aroma like some. Crystal malt is noticeable yet blends into hops on the tongue. I like this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can into a chalice Best by 12/24/2015 A: A gentle pour still yields a half inch of fine tight tan foam that lingers for several minutes and also laces thickly. Dark gold to pale orange color. Crystal clear but fine sediment is visible in suspension. Great looking beer! S: Malty toffee with just a light hint of citrus. Orange zest. Aroma very light overall but the beer is very cold. T: Citrus and pith bitterness upfront with a slight juiciness. Malt backbone just noticeable and gives a little balance. M: Body is lighter side of medium and frothy but not overly so. Pretty short but clean juicy finish. O: This pale ale has many negative reviews but I think it’s pretty good. Local (to me) brewery means it’s widely available, usually very fresh and never terribly expensive. All this adds up to well worth purchasing IMO and recommended.
