Not too bad. I had 4 pints of this one nite at Hooters in Morrisville, NC (RTP) and it knocked me off my ass. Ive had better but I have also had MUCH worse. Not much on Aroma so I rated it a little low and the taste needs to be a little more malty or toasty. Slight hop aftertaste. Nothing _really_ stands out.

Lovely brown ale with a decent hop presence. I like this one a lot. Well balanced, but noticeably different than others in this style. Bravo

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Copper coloured, with a decent, white, head. Sweet, with brown sugar and hints of berry fruits, before a touch of toasty malts and gentle, slightly boozy, finish. Good.

Pours a deep brown with minimal tan head. Notes of toffee. A little too bitter an aftertaste for me

Chocolate malt aroma. Nice body and full flavored. Has a descent amount of hops to balance the malt but it is not too bitter. Overall a nice brown. Maybe slightly on the bitter side actually. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark amber in color with a moderate brown head. Aromas of caramel and roast with some fruit. Flavors of caramel and roast with a bit of floral.

Can. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head. The nose is chocolaty, tossed, and lightly roasty maltiness with a slight leafy hoppiness. Some lighter notes of coffee and maybe a hint of burnt rubber. The flavor is OK, a little bit of that burnt rubber that I got in the aroma, but its not horrible. More toasted and slightly nutty maltiness, fairly heavy sweetness, minimal hops, though theres a light bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied and on the clingier side with soft carbonation.

Pours up dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is caramel with some roasted nuts and toffee. Taste is malty and sweet with caramel, roasted nuts, and a hint of dry bakers chocolate. A very good brown ale
