First rate! Woo hoo! 22oz bomber from Bellport Dave’s. Pours a deep, amber hue. Off white head with sticky lacing. Aroma is interesting. More fragrant and perfumey than outright hoppy. More malt forward. Heavy mouthfeel. Sharp, bitter finish with residual stickiness. Pretty good double. Me likely the 10.5% ABV too. Nice job, guys!
Mörkrostad färg. Doftar lite kemiskt å mycket druv jos annorlunda. Smakar så långt ifrån West Coast stil man kan tänka sig. Tung fyllig i gommen å mycket jordkällare . Smakar verkligen microöl ingen filtrering här inte. .

Aroma: The nose is sweet malt/caramel, earthy hops, and a drop of rubbing alcohol
Appearance: This beer pours a dark orange color, murky, with a beige head and plenty of lacing
Flavor: The taste mid-sweet, and medium-heavy bitter, with some boozy flavors as well
Palate: This brew is fairly full bodied, a little sticky, with some dryness, and a pretty hot finish
This is an okay, but somewhat flawed example of the style. Drinkable, but nothing special. It’s tough, but this is definitely not up to the standards of a style as stacked as this one.
poured from growler into pint glass, mild inviting aroma, lingers on the palette, strong IPA notes

Bottle:   Fiery amber, moderate frothy sandy head, nice lacing.   Really oxidized and dank, sweaty, basement, musty, oh lordy.... This smells like a 15 year old Belgian ale.   Tastes like butterscotch and old bacon.   This is an odd duck, real odd duck.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes a little better, but still, lingering butterscotch, stale bacon, and this overwhelming musty basement.   Ugh... tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Bottle. Clearly not fresh but no bottling date was listed. Pours a murky orange amber with dense tannish orange head and nice lace. Nose of caramel, sugar, light floral and citrus notes. Mostly malt, slightly hot but not bad for 10.5%, I would like to try fresh because this clearly was old.

Bottle, from Half Time beverage ok aroma, sweet. Tad oxidized. Kind of fruity.Figgy. brownish orange color, nice head, spotty lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, bitter finish. Certainly past its best, though not totally ruined, just that oxidized thing going on. Otherwise fairly indistinguishable. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 3, 2013

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 Bottle. Pours copper orange with beige head. Nose and taste of caramel, bitter hops, citrus rind, irand rind and toasted grain. Medium body. Dry bitter finish. bhensonb (15234) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Bomber from Half Time. Pours hazy ruddy copper with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Full bodied - almost. Heat is present. There’s a heavy sweetness. There’s a lot of hop. There’s a flavor aspect that’s not metallic exactly, but makes me think of that. Also hints of earth. There’s a lot of fruity hop. There’s a lot of a lot of things. With time the heat seems fairly low key. I’d like to figure out that different flavor, but that’s my only problem with this beer. Update: basil and oregano come to mind for that flavor. Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pear, grapefruit, floral notes and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, floral notes, orange zest and mint with a smooth lingering floral finish.
