Bronze. Very average. Nothing special but also drinkable. A fair kick on the palate though.

Turtles (3092) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 22, 2016
Cask @ Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber, white fluffy head. Yeast and floral aroma. Mild and smooth mouthfeel at first but gets really rough. Fairly bitter floral and grassy taste with a lot of harsh and disturbing soapy yeast notes.

GlasgowTAD (2007) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - FEB 16, 2016
Cask at Crystal Palais. Pours light amber with a white head which remains. Aroma is grassy and slightly herbal. Taste is grassy, caramel sweet, slightly earthy.

minutemat (6257) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2016
Cask @ JDW Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber. Aroma was lightly fruity with some sweet malt. Taste followed a similar theme with some toffee and fruit with a dry finish. Alright quaffer.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 4, 2016
Cask at The Water House (JDW), Durham, £2.09/pint. Copper-amber pour with a small, loose, off-white head. It looks a little flat. The aroma is bittersweet with eart and overripe fruit, particularly apple, to be found in it. There are sweet, ripe citrus flavours early in the taste, giving way to a long, dry finish with grainy cereal flavours. Drinkable but mediocre bitter.

mjs (7778) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 23, 2015
(Cask at Kitty’s, 20150523) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, almost white and it lasted long. Aroma had malts, earth and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, sweetness, mild tartness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A brew that’s not an enjoyment to drink.

VastActiv (7749) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 22, 2015
Cask at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, nuts, toffee, bitterness, sweetness and malts.

BlackHaddock (7961) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2013
Hand-pulled half-pint in ’The Old Blenheim’ Oxford on 23rd Nov 13, the pub crawl was in full swing when this arrived in front of me. Copper bronze body with a white crown that produced some good lacing as the beer level dropped. The nose was of sweet grains with yeast and fruit esters. The taste was a good blend of flavours, nothing strong, powerful or original: just a well balanced Pale Ale with enough hops to keep the sweet malts in check and give a dry, semi-bitter finish. Overall a pleasant half pint: I’d have had another, but we were on a mission and couldn’t linger longer on a single beer or pub.

Cask @ Piries Bar, Horsham, 22/08/13. Pours a copperish orange with a small, but firm and beautiful, white head that leaves lacing very nicely. Aroma is yeasty, freshly baked, fluffy sweetbfead. Taste is a nice caramel, bready with a lot of floweriness. Light touch of berries too. Smooth with not much carbonation. Quite full, superbly smooth. Very quaffable.
