On tap at a sports bar in Waltham, Mass. Reminds me of Yuengling. Amber in color with little to no head. Not much lacing left on glass. Aroma and taste moslty roasted malts with some faint hop aroma. Overall not too bad. Would not seek out on a regular basis.
I really like this Amber ale, the signature beer from Long Trail in Vermont. Spent some time up there and also enjoy the Long Trail varietals, but this is probably my favorite beer from Long Trail.

good regular beer, great for regular drinking with not too high alcohol content gripweed57 (2733) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 15, 2017
From old tasting notes. Deep amber gold color. Thick creamy beige head. Fruity malt aroma Delicious fruity malt palate hints of peach and tropical citrus.mjice body and balance. Tart malty finish.. tekstr1der (495) - New Hampshire, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Light brown pour with minimal head. Aroma is malty and grainy with a mild chem and/or meat smell - like a frying pan used to cook burgers the day before. Thankfully that’s missing in the flavor which is nicely malty with just enough hop to balance slightly on the sweet side. Feel/finish is okay with lingering toasted flavor. meccahh69lol (293) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - MAR 3, 2017
Last beer from a Long Trail variety pack and easily the least of the bunch. This altbeir is basically just a middle of the road amber ale. Malty body, easy drinking, very clean. I could see how something like this could be a good transitional beer for someone raised on pale lagers and malt beverages. It’s not bad at all, it just doesn’t do anything particularly memorable. Good beer for sitting around in a freezing apartment trying to decide what movie to fall asleep to.

Pouls a medium brown with a thickish off-white head. Kinda light/olive for an amber. Aroma is definitely of an amber, but not too overpowering. Flavor is same. Solid amber - center of the line. I’m not a big fan of ambers. This beer doesn’t suck, though. blueshockey24 (615) - Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2016

Looks good and smells good. A solid Amber. Just a little thin. All in all, a nice easy drinking beer.

Pours a reddish amber color with ivory colored head. Caramel malts, bread, toast, and some cereal on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes very malty. ThirstyBird (2968) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2016
Bottle, pours a clear light Amber color with a light tan head. The smell is lightly roasted malt, some herbal notes, fruit and a touch of brown sugar. The taste is roasted malt, light fruit, a bit herbal ending a bit dry. Light body with average carbonation.
