Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This all natural ale is our latest seasonal brew, perfect for lounging at lake-side or celebrating at trails end...

Cloudy, pale yellow in color with a rather long lingering head. Slight citrusy aroma with a light citrusy taste and a thin finish. Definitely a summer offering but there are better beers to have.

Lemon and orange nose, coriander isn’t distinguishable. Dingy golden no head. Crisp orange and coriander. Malty on the back end. Good and great value.

Appearance is a very cloudy like intensely cloudy cream orange Smell is big dry Belgian yeast almost like a champagne as some wheat. Taste is cloves and oranges. Cucumber as well. Nice witbier on the finish Mouthfeel is 80% carbonation very interesting like pulpy fresh squeezed orange juice feel. Heavy body. Citrusy malt finish

Similar to Hoegaarden but not as good. Slightly more cidery taste but less spicy and creamy. Pretty decent overall.

Bottle from gift basket won at Pescatore’s Bootleggers Ball. My problem with this beer is that it is very similar to Allagash or Hoegaarden but not quite as good. Tastes and looks as expected - Cloudy yellow/gold with a white fizzy head. Aroma of orange/coriander and sweet malt. Taste is refreshing and citrusy - highly carbonated (maybe a tad more than Hoegaarden or Allagash) and finishes a little dry with a citrusy bite balanced with creamy malt. Not bad, just wouldn’t choose it over the other two.

Orange-y gold in color, with a small head. This has a strong citrus/orange flavor, but not as much spice as I like in a witbier. Still, not too bad.

naivepegasus (388) - USA - MAY 18, 2012
Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with about a finger of slowly dissipating head. Lemon zest in the nose. Has a light citrusy taste with a bit of a watery mouthfeel. Pretty good, but not amazing. Refreshing though.

12oz bottle. Aroma of wheat, some pale and caramel malts, and light hops. Flavor the same, with a little spiciness. Average texture. A decent beer.

Bottle. Cloudynyellow color, medium whitebhead. Aroma of citrus and light spice. Taste is similar. Plain.
