12 fl oz, got from Alex, after a tasting round at Kingdom Brewing, Newport, VT. Thanks a lot! Pours clear pale golden in the glass, short loving head. Only blackberry on the nose. Starts with herb blackberry, maybe due to the hope. Later mid bitter dry aftertaste. Not really my favourite style. generallee08 (773) - New York, USA - JUN 17, 2014
The body was a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head. Its head just covered the body and left only minimal lacing on the glass. The aroma had a pleasant bouquet of sweet wild berries with some notes of grain and wheat malts. It has a semi-sweet blackberry flavor up front that is held in check buy the twang of the wheat. These two flavors are balanced nicely and work very well together. Hop flavor is very mild offering only a very slight herbal flavor and almost no bitterness. The taste thins towards the finish, which is crisp and slightly dry. Its body is light with a crisp refreshing texture and an average to fizzy carbonation. This beer has a nice solid flavor with an easy to drink body that makes for a nice hot weather refresher.

DATE REVIEWED: June 7, 2014... GLASSWARE: Lindemans flute... OCCASION: Gatsby 2012....bring it on, Baz!...APPEARANCE: crystal clear, faintly tinted in yellow, with rapid effervescence; thick yet bubbly white head...odd, misshapen lacing... AROMA: pungent, offish skunky funk that suggests a fruity failure--not saying any more than this... PALATE: soft, bubbly, thin and drinkable--almost refreshing, but more like weakly flavored water... TASTE: mostly acquiescent light beer malt tendencies, with a tinge of blackberry--rather flat... OVERALLL: a weak, cleansing, warm weather wheat that doesn’t distinguish itself; such a slight turn of berry that only faintly offers flavor, and what is offered is annoying.... Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – A very light golden/straw color with a very light white head. The head faded very fast giving way to almost no lacing.
Smell –There is some very light wheat aromas mixed with a little bit of berry aroma as well. There is also the presence of some less pleasant skunky and metallic aromas as well.
Taste- The taste is of light breadiness up front, with light what flavors mixed in. There is a very light sweetness in the middle of the beer, which seems to diminish again toward the end. At the end there is some of the skunkiness detected in the nose as well as a presence of blackberry flavors. The skunk and blackberry linger on the tongue and leave a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste.
Mouthfeel – It has a very light body with a medium level of carbonation. Right for the style, but nothing really too great.
Overall – Not really my kind of beer. It really doesn’t have anything I found all that enjoyable. The taste and aroma were nothing all that pleasurable, the taste left a rather unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth and the mouthfeel was really quite bland. coyforce (684) - California, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Tastes much like a faint berry flavor but there isnt much to say for the wheat.

Very UNimpressed. Pretty bland....both taste and palate. Maybe a transitional kinda craft beer for someone coming from Coors Light. I prefer when the dominant fruit in a craft is not overdone, but this one hardly shows up. The only thing I'll say is that I have a little bit of a cold, so maybe that's throwing me off....but I doubt it's that much.

Aroma of some lager like funk and some mild fruity aroma. Light in flavor. Light malt and some very light fruit. Bit of a cheap malt flavor to this as well. Not great but drinkable-ish.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a transparent yellow colored body that yielded a small fizzy white head that appeared for ten seconds and died. No lacing was left. Rapidly rising carbonation was seen.
The smell had a decent blend of the blackberries and the wheat, but nothing else.
The taste was exactly the same.
On the palate, well, hmmm....it was very light, extremely sessionable, and there was an extremely high amount of carbonation that was felt.
Overall, I like blackberries, but they seemed to be trying to "blend" it in too well in this beer. Being a "fruit/vegetable beer," I thought they would come out a bit more. Still, I’m not sure if I would have this again.........?? samsmith33 (772) - - DEC 15, 2013
A little disappointed since I remember liking this beer more. Aroma Is stale, yeast, grains,BlackBerry, raspberry. Clear light yellow color, no head. Taste is sour BlackBerry, some wood. Crisp feel, very drinkable. All in all, still a good fruit beer. anthony850 (473) - Andover, New Jersey, USA - DEC 9, 2013
